We are excited to announce that The Stonewall Chorale is a LMCC 2024 Manhattan Arts Grant recipient!
The Chorale was awarded a Creative Engagement Grant by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, which provides funding to nonprofit organizations for projects and activities that offer Manhattan
communities diverse artistic experiences. The program support hundreds of Manhattan-based artists, arts groups and community-focused organizations in accessing private and public funds for the presentation of arts activities in all disciplines with the public, serving communities from Inwood to The Battery.
This year, we received funding for "Here I Am: I Am Here," which will be performed on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. Composer, Andrea Clearfield and Mimi LeMay and Sam Brinton (on whose texts the Here I Am/I Am Here piece is based) will be in attendance at the performance.
