Dear Friends, First, we hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. Like all of you, we are confronting the ever-evolving realities of how Coronavirus (COVID-19) is transforming our lives. As you know, we decided to postpone our March 21 concert, and intended to perform "Here Comes the Sun" at our Pride Concert on June 4. As the public health crisis continues to unfold, we now realize we cannot perform in June and have decided to cancel the remainder of our season. Those who have tickets will hear from us about next steps in the coming days. Our members are heartbroken. The Stonewall Chorale has always been a source of defiant pride in the face of adversity, a group that endeavors to change the world, one concert at a time. However, we believe that canceling the remainder of our season is a way for us to do our part in reducing community spread of Coronavirus. While we're all practicing recommended social distancing, we haven't stopped connecting with each other. We're hosting virtual meet-ups to check in on each other, socialize, and create music as a group. We hope to share some of that with you on social media (be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram) and through emails. As we navigate our new normal, our spirits are renewed with the hope of performing for you again this year as we kick off our 44th season in December. In the meantime, we are sending you all warm thoughts and are ever-grateful for your friendship and support. Be well, Michael Conwill, Board President Cynthia Powell, Artistic Director
