35 Years of Music,  35 Years of Pride

The Chorale had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall on Thursday  January 19th  in support of the American Cancer Society’s Gala Concert. The benefit,  ”A Tribute to Horowitz,”  featured piano virtuoso Lola Astanova with special guest honorees Donald Trump and Julie Andrews.

Joined by members of Melodia Women’s Choir, The Chorale opened the evening by performing three pieces a cappella,  concluding with “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”  in honor of Dame Andrews.

Make plans now to attend our 2012 Spring Concert at 8 pm on Saturday, March 24th at Holy Apostles in Chelsea. We continue to celebrate The Chorale’s 35th anniversary season and Cynthia Powell’s 10th season as Artistic Director with this presentation of Igor Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms. The program will also include works by Meredith Monk,  Bobby McFerrin,  John Tavener and more.
